Along with pasta, I never had a huge propensity towards fruit. This is kind of a good thing for a Paleo follower because fruits are high in sugar (albeit natural sugars). There are some times, however, that I crave something sweet and fruit is perfect to quash that craving! Since I have some weird allergic reaction to whole, fresh fruits with skin, I tend to lean towards either frozen or cooked fruits. To add creaminess, I usually throw in a banana or (surprise!) an avocado! Don’t be scared, the addition of avocado does not change the taste, it just makes the texture wonderfully thick and creamy. I also use almond or coconut milk as the base and voilà, a guilt-free sweet treat!
