Well Sunday is usually my lounge day. You know, when you shower around ten and get right back into your pjs? That’s what weekends are made for! Although all this tv watching usually makes me crave something sweet and it’s so easy to get carried away with snacking while otherwise entertained, so I had to think of something relatively healthy to satisfy my sweet tooth. I was drinking a big glass of dark chocolate almond milk (my favourite!) and I thought a nice cookie or brownie would go perfectly. Then I thought, why not combine the two? Looking in my pantry, I saw that I could do a walnut and dark chocolate chip Blondie. I’m so glad I always keep almond flour and coconut oil on hand for times like this! It’s short prep and cooking time make this the perfect dessert for when you’re hit with a sudden urge for something sweet and guilt free. Enjoy!
